some years back, there were a ton of DT topics and polls every day around here that could annoy even someone who loves this band , but these days things settled down I guess, DT does not get much talk around here.
So, just my silly curiosity, what's your take on 90s DT these days? It ain't an easy choice anyway. Post 2000 poll will follow if this poll gets some votes and comments. Edited by Cristi - February 23 2015 at 02:06 |

Scenes From A Memory is awesome and the only DT album I'd still regularly listen to.

I find it rather difficult to vote for a favourite album from DT, since mostly I like lot's of their songs... but hardly like a whole album as such, since they usually have many weaker, or even annoying songs to drag the album down at least one star. But guess I would have to be between Images and Words and Metropolis 2.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

This is very easy for me - Metropolis Pt.2... It's their masterpiece, in fact it's album which turned my attention to DT...

Awake beats Metropolis by a hair. I prefer the unique sound, even though it sounds less mature and more all-over-the-place than Metropolis, though that's some of the appeal for me.

I'm gonna be weird and vote for Falling into Infinity.
I just feel it has the least cliche metal moments and has the alt-rock, restrained sound that i prefer. Lines in the Sand and Trail of Tears are both pretty good. |

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light. Through the skies, his white horse flies. To find a land beyond the night. |

Awake followed by A Change Of Seasons. I've got a bit bored with Scenes and I&W but they are 'okay'. Haven't listened to Falling Into Infinity for a long time so I'm not sure what I think of that!

Any of the first three on this list. I'm not sure I can decide right now.
Metropolis is a really good album, but not as good anything with Kevin Moore, or even A Chance of Seasons. |
