I've never thought Nicholls overdoes his singing. And I probably love I.Q. a bit more than Marillion. |

ahhh. Still here? If included in the database here, he should still be here. The site is good about not zapping artists once added. If you mean as a member? Never had the pleasure to meet so no idea? |

I was in on the UK neo-prog movement and Solstice were by far the best of the live acts - I used to travel regularly to see them. Of the US contenders, then Spocks Beard the most accomplished (good live too). Solstice suffered from a poorly produced/distributed debut album which they never seemed to recover from.

Anyway, have you guys checked our sounds? Go and take a listen at what we do!
http://driftingsun.bandcamp.com The next album is in the making already... it will be forged in the fires of Mount Doom (what remains to be seen is how long the forging will take, though) |

Some of these aren't even neo-prog. Anyway, I'll vote for Marillion.

Pendragon, because of their early work.
The Jewel is my favorite prog album by far. I always liked KowTow as well, and The Window Of Life and The Masquerade Overture are pretty good. I also spent some happy hours listening to Marillion, IQ, Pallas, Twelfth Night, Shadowland and Casino especially.

I too don't consider Spock's Beard to be neo-prog, so I voted for the Pendies.

Marillion will most likely win, though I would go for IQ.... if I was allowed to vote :)
Why aren't I allowed to vote anyway? My opinion is as bad as anybody else's! |

I'd be really tempted to vote for Spock's Beard over The Flower Kings, which is a pretty big shift from a few years ago. If only either one of those bands were Neo . . .
IQ gets my vote. |
