I guess I didn't question the categorization, I just voted for the band I liked best - The Flower Kings. Maybe the thing I like best about Progressive Rock is lyrics that want to say something significant. Unfold the Future, Stardust We Are, Space Revolver, and their many other albums have always had weak moments, but I think they have some of the best long-form compositions of the last 20 years.

IQ is the most consistent neo prog band from the list , and Ever is my
choice as best album from them together with The seventh house and The
wake <---- good point

Very tough choice. Today I say Spock's Beard. Tomorrow I might say IQ. If you would have asked me last week I might have said Marillion ;-)
