Newbie here, I like all sorts of music but a big fan of prog.

Being a bit of an oldie, I fondly remember the punk explosion and will be seeing The Damned next month. At the same time I began listening to prog rock.

Gigs so far this year:

Manfred Mann's Earth Band
The Jesus and Mary Chain
Hawkwind supported by Focus

Booked gigs:
Wilko Johnson (local boy done good)
The Damned
The Fall
The Moody Blues
The Dead Kennedys

Possible gig:
Camel

Favourite gig of the last 12 months:
Yes - performing Close to the Edge, Going for the One and The Yes Album

How was The Jesus And Mary Chain gig? I've never seen them live unfortunately.

They were excellent.  They did about 30 minutes of newer stuff before playing Pyschocandy.




I missed the King Crimson announcement but have secured a ticket for the Lowry Centre in September.
