Which guitarist is the best of these three?

Martin Barre I expect will be a heavy favorite because JT will be a heavy favorite. I acknowledge that Jan Akkerman is probably the most talented player. However, I chose Tony Duhig from Jade Warrior. I'm gave him the edge on the basis of his creative use of timbre and creativity in instrumental song writing. Then again, what do you think?

I have to give it up to Tony Duhig.  He did not have a whole lot of speed, but he more than made up for it with his exquisite musical sensibilities.  Not that Akkerman or Barre are second rate.

Depends on what you're looking for. Akkerman is a faster and more fluid guitarist; however, Martin Barre has come up with far, far more memorable riffs, and he can play flute as well (duetting with Ian on Bouree for instance). Wink
