Dark Side. It is one of those albums where the unwashed masses got it right. Foxtrot, as great as it is, is my least favorite album from the PG era.

The various vinyl releases of Foxtrot after its initial one were sloppy sounding. As for Foxtrot sounding good now after its last CD release, granted. I will say though that I only have the first CD release of Dark Side of the Moon, and for being early on, it sounds great! I'd like to get the latest remaster, but what I have will suffice. When I saw a second-hand copy of the remastered Foxtrot at my favorite used record/CD store, there was no thinking it over. I gladly paid 15 Oompa Loompas for it with no looking back. It's the band at their most gloriously English!

Dark Side by a mile. Foxtrot is one of Genesis' better releases, but still doesn't really do much for me.

Dark side is the better album overall, but Supper's Ready is my favorite song of all time...so its got to be Foxtrot.

I've just tipped the favour towards Foxtrot. Both albums are superb, but dang, that Foxtrot album......

Foxtrot, to me, is the weakest album PG era album. Nevertheless, a lot of weak points in both. Some of DSOTM just drags for me (e.g. Us and Them). I have to go with Foxtrot.

I'm no longer susrprised by the Genesis fanbase, but I still don't understand it. I wouldn't even compare DSOTM with anything Genesis have done. Of course it's a personal opinion, I don't own the Truth.
