Okay, third time's a charm. Embarrassed

By 1980, Prog had become my favorite genre/style.  Several clear favorites had emerged and not one day went by for years where I did not play at least one of these.  Some have also appeared in my earlier poll.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

< id="" id=":AA2F4D1D-BC58-4ac1-931C-94B431C26869"> That was quite a lineup, and hard to choose from.

I picked "Olias of Sunhillow," because there is nothing else like it.  Jon Anderson does something on that album which is as good as any Yes album, but is all the more special because it isn't.

I can't decide between Carnegie Hall and Moonmandness. Two masterpieces. Olias is a very good albu, but not at the same level.
Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.

Has to be Spectral Mornings. It's hard to stomach having Jade Warrior in a poll and not voting for them, though. That would have been my second choice. I have more personal affection for Released and Floating World.

I agree with your assessment; there is nothing quite like it and what it is is absolutely wonderful.
