I do like Starless, but In the Court of the Crimson King the title track is so great Symphonic rock song; actually, both songs are at same, the highest level of King Crimson's greatness.

ITCOTCK is one of the few KC tracks I really like.
Starless is not one of the others.

How do you choose, between two of the finest songs from the world's greatest (IMHO) band? Although I love them both, I think "Starless" gets the edge. "In the Court of the Crimson King" seems (show your best shocked expression!) slightly repetitive by comparison.

Tough but Starless for me. It has an emotional intensity that ITCOTCK lacks IMO.

Starless by a mile - ITCOTKC is just a bit too silly (or maybe way too silly) in the lyric department, and dated in its sound for me...
