I haven't heard that Pentacle album yet so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt before I end up voting for moo.

The Enid. Obviously I like Depois do Fim, especially UFO and Último Entardecer, but I love the whole 'In The Region Of The Summer Stars' especially fond of 'Judgement' and 'In The Region Of The Summer Stars'.

Henry Cow!  Was a pleasure to hear the second side of this great album performed live last year at the Lindsay Cooper tribute concerts...

This is so difficult!
These are four prog volcanoes, bursting out with musical confetti.
It's a real celebration of prog, all four of them.
So different from each other: symphonic, eclectic, folk and RIO (in my ears at least, haven't looked for their real PA classification).
But all four so totally happening!
And I'm supposed to choose? (Sigh).

Okay, maybe I like Bacamarte and Henry Cow a tiny bit more than the other two.
And the opening of Bacamarte's album is so gorgeous, maybe that makes a very small difference.
Bacamarte, then.

Cow
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.
