exactly where I sit Thumbs Up... if close or a chance to catch Roxy.. it goes to them.. otherwise it goes to the mighty Zarathrustra! Clap
C'mon, guys, just vote for Mezquita already! LOL

OK, I understand it might be easier for me, not being particularly attached to any of the other three, but still, c'mon! WinkLOL

hah...  don't blame us. Blame all the people who voted for Roxy Music. LOL Good album.. but no where near the quality of Mezquita or Zarathrustra.  If Ferry had been singing Italian.. it would be being bageled right now, musically it is as flaccid as... oh nevermind.

Zarathrustra it is.. because .. well this PA's.. and one of the great prog rock albums ever made. Actually needs help to advance out of the first round, simply because it is not from England LOLLOLWink

Surprised at the votes For Your Pleasure is getting. Up to a few years ago, Roxy Music were in Prog Related, and there are still quite a few people who disagree with their being labeled as a prog band. Don't get me wrong, I love the album and the band (we have all their albums), but I cannot help wondering if some are voting for the big name rather than for the actual album.

yep...  the sh*tter of it is.. look who they are to face (if they advance as 2nd place).. in the 2nd round.

I realized that AFTER Raff and I cast our votes in poll #31. whoops.  Would have been the strategic vote to vote for the Moodies.  Now we are likely to get a a Storia di Minuto v. Zarathrustra 2nd round match.. OUCH!!!!! LOL

For my pleasure? Roxy Music.

Museo Rosenbach, Zarathustra.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

And Zarathustra it is - though the Mezquita album would have deserved some love as well.
