I think I'm giving this one to miRthkon.
Thats actually the first time I've heard The Dark Third, even though I have the album. Columbia Records completely screwed the release of that album with the two best tracks, TDT and The Twyncin being split between different regions. Would have made for a better album overall if they'd put it all together properly in the first place.

Alright, so I'll put both Phideaux and PRR in the category of "not bad but not my thing either." I like that miRthkon album but I like the Ozrics album more. They get my vote.

I realise that these polls are rapidly exposing the fact that my tastes are at best tending towards the overly melodic or at worst a bit middle of the road.
I'm enjoying Mirthkon but I fear I'd rarely revisit it. Technically excellent though. (for what ever reason that specific clip is not available to the likes of me). Ozric I enjoy but no real involvement. PRR, now that is good, my only concern is whether the vocals are a bit too sweet. Maybe that is also a criticism that could be levelled at Phideaux but at least they (him) mix it up a bit more. I'm having a hard time moving on from listening. Has it enough substance to stand repeated listens ? Not overly sure about that but I'm going to find out.
Phideax.

Jurassic Shift...although a couple of others are quite good. Jurassic Shift though, played that thing with my buds driving around in a van high as kites in the early 90's.
Don't do that sort of thing kids, you could get into an accident and lose half of your head and some limbs (so I am told).

Have both of miRthkon's albums, but neither have quite grabbed me. Didn't like TDD, but enjoyed both Snowtorch and Jurassic Shift. Vote goes to the former.
