Band: Regna
Location: Barcelona
Genre: Symphonic Progressive Rock | Heavy Progressive Rock

Biography:

Regna is a progressive rock band from Barcelona. It came together in 2012 when the former thrash metal band Full of Anger, and the keyboard player Miguel González were combined. Soon, after a couple of gigs and the addition of a new singer, Marc Illa, the band was ready to record their songs.

The influences of this young band are based, on one hand, on groups like Riverside or the earlier Dream Theater, and, on the other hand, the old and refined style of Camel or Spock's Beard, to name a few iconic examples. Drawing from these and many other sources, but providing a unique and personal sensitivity, Regna arises; its sound demonstrates a genuine and forceful style, nostalgic dyes, but mostly different.

Line-Up
Alejandro Domínguez: Guitar
Arturo García: Bass
Miguel González: Keyboards

Hello Miguel, we have received your message, thanks.

You have done nothing wrong, this is a well-written suggestion.

However, the heavy prog team feels that although certainly something that could be evaluated in ProgArchives, the sound quality (mainly) and duration (secondly) of the EP do not warrant inclusion in the database - at least for now. Ideally we are looking for a larger sample of music but also recorded to a standard that resembles to profesionally-recorded albums.

Therefore, I am not saying "no" but rather put you "on hold" until the next release. Please keep us updated.

Hi!

Ok, I understand. No problem. We are currently writing our next release, a full LP, so I'll send it to you when it's published. However, we are trying a different approach, so maybe it won't classify as Heavy Prog anymore. We'll see.

Thank you for your time and your comments, we'll be more careful with the sound quality in the future. See you around the forum! :D
