I'd say bill bruford is the best, but I'd prefer to listen to two guys not mentioned John "Pugwash" Weathers and Alan White, because they played drums on most of my favorite albums.

Of this list, Bruford and Palmer, closely followed by Peart, but I would put Barriemore Barlow at the top.

Well, Phil Collins deserves to be a part of any list of great drummers, alongside Messrs Bruford & Peart.

Probably Bru but I do love me some Palmer, one of those on-the-edge guys when rock was more about heart than precision.
Peart is more machine than man, and Mike Annoy, I mean Portnoy, is a bit of a w**ker.

Broford out of these, but I prefer Jerzy Piotrovski at the moment.

Peart and Portnoy. As much as like Mike Mangini,Dream Theater still miss MP.However this is beneficial to both Transatlantic and Neal Morse who now have the services of MP full time!

Wyatt and Moon The Loon They seemed the more intuitive. Not sure they played a number exactly the same twice.
