yeah.. no reason to hold this one... GG is brilliant..yet fails to hit in the heart and soul like others.. even if not quite being as cold and souless as later albums.   Gong however is more fun..  I'll go with fun every and every time. It is music man. Fun and enjoyment still reign surpreme!

That, of course, is as it should be. You have my blessing
I get a bit more out of GG myself. I made a good decision too

Again love both but yeah come on, it's Gong we're talking here....and their masterpiece.

Acquiring the Taste could have beaten the Gong but not Octopus.

Two of the albums that got me into prog!!
Although there are others of both bands I like more, in this deathmatch Octopus gets the vote.

yeah man...  will be popping some popcorn for this one as the week progresses...

this one is in extra innings...  thought Gong would show well out of the gate as fade as the more votes came...

this one is now officially a deathmatch...  if it weren't for the bobbleheads and their insane love of anything Genesis related.. one could say the winner here could be considered the favorite to advance to the final.

I love voting against Gentle Giant almost as I love voting for Gong. I can't believe this is even close. Gong still down by one even after my vote!

Gotta go with Gong, the GG album is alright but I prefer earlier and later albums.

Two of my all time favorites. It's a while that I don't listen to You but I have recently listened to Angel's Egg.
I can't vote here so I abstain

The title of this thread sounds like one of those awful SyFy Channel movies.

I voted for Gentle Giant, because You suck (not really, but I just had to use that joke).
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.
