Probably done before, blabla, etcetera...

BUT
1. Long time ago, I couldn't find it
2. Maybe the first time I also made the option for solo albums
3. I just want to make one because now I'm able to do so and can't think of anything else

Sooooo
You can vote more than once. To me it seems a good idea to make a top 5 and vote the 1st 5 times, 2nd 4 times, blabla, etcetera...

Though I'm not sure you can vote one option multiple times, else just vote your top once, or post it.

My total list:
1. Animals
2. ~/\=
3. Wish You Were Here
4. Meddle
5. Atom Heart Mother
6. Amused To Death
7. On An Island
8. The Division Bell
9. The Wall
10. The Endless River
11. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
12. The Final Cut
13. A Saucerful Of Secrets
14. A Momentary Lapse of Reason

The rest I don't know good enough to rank...

Depends how one gauges a "best" Floyd record.

Voted Meddle.

I often gauge it on how often I can hear it  before it bores me and how good/complex/creative the album is when you analyse it ((lyric) meaning, chord progressions, other complexity)

Well yeah, but we also may judge on production, lyric content, concept, or everything combined.   For some, the overall standout would be WYWH or The Wall, and that will influence any decision they make about 'best'.

So, if I got this right, ...

1st  11111 }
2nd 1111   }
3rd 111 } = 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 15 votes. Can the system allow this?
4th 11 }
5th 1 }

 - - -

Anyway, ... Obscured by CloudsAnimalsMeddleWish You Were Here, and A Saucerful of Secrets.

Too new to vote, but I'd probably go with:

1. Wish You Where Here
2. Dark Side of the Moon
3. Animals (though it's sometimes tied with second)
4. Meddle
5. The Division Bell

As great as the entire Floyd catalog is with the exemption of More and ummagumma, this is actually an easy decision for me,

WISH YOU WERE HERE.

By a long shot.

Mmm... multiple choices poll, not a good idea. It usually makes for a mess, if not downright abuse of the multiple voting. However, Whish you were Here for me, almost tied with Animals. Then The Division Bell, and then Dark Side of the Moon. After that, The Wall and Meddle, I guess, though I'm not sure which I would put before the other (Echoes is better than anythin on The Wall, of course, and One of this Days is better than most, but The Wall has more songs to enjoy).

I suppose what you could do there is compare the enjoyment/total time ratio from The Wall  to that from Meddle.

I voted with the heart instead of the head:  Obscured by Clouds!  It's that album they chiseled away to pay for the recording of Dark Side.  You can hear elements of both the future and past of the band.....Meddle segueing into Dark Side.
If I were to rank a top 5:  Obscured - Animals - Meddle - Ummaguma (live set) - Dark Side

At the bottom would be everything after Wish with the Wall and Momentary at the very bottom.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
