Did she ever have an appreciation thread? I recently stumbled upon her debut album the Litanies of Satan in a used CDs shop. I had read about her a bit before here on PA and it had seemed interesting so I picked it and... omigod! This music (?) is just insane (or possessed!)! But I'm loving it and I definitely need to get more albums by her!

BTW, the title track is an adaptation of the poem “Litanies of Satan” by Charles Baudelaire.

I think there was a thread about her (I hope) Her music and voice are so powerful, so dramatic and tense. One of a kind.

Not really my cuppa music wise but a brilliant singer for sure.  Incredible versatility.

Had no idea Ms. Galas was on PA, she's one of those musicians I've been meaning to check out for a long time.
