Zoyd got Haxan and altogether more great albums than The Cow - much as it's probably only because the cow fell apart after only a few records - so Zoyd wins.

Love both.
Would give the nod to Cow.

I just love Henry Cow, the Art Bears and the solo career of Dagmar Krause... so... I will not vote on "both" on this one...
The Cow.

Art Zoyd by far. All their albums from the debut to the mideighties are avant-prog classics as great as the best of european avantgarde jazz. Henry Cow is almost up there as well but their short discography is uneven so they left us less great works. Imo.

I first heard Desperate Straights when I was 13 when it came out in 75, and I have been a fan ever since. I have only discovered Art Zoyd in the last few years and much as I admire them, it's the Cow for me!

Old poll, but much as I love Henry Cow, Art Zoyd for sure. Art Zoyd has such a large quantity of albums I love.
And lol at the Zappa option (know it is a joke), as Zappa was never part of the RIO movement.
