I only just recently noticed the light bass tones at around 3:12 on Stairway to Heaven as I just got new headphones.

"The Battle Of Epping Forest" (Genesis-Selling England By The Pound)

My god there are layers of detail, subtle sounds, and vocal things I've recently discovered in "Battle"after listening to it for over twenty years! Good headphones is the ticket...

The musical piece that springs to mind for me is Henry Mancini's "Baby Elephant Walk". One day I was listening to the record on my stereo and realized that something was amiss. One of my speakers had went out and I was hearing only one side. While it wasn't nice that my speakers were having this problem it made me discover that the electric piano parts behind the sax and flute solos sounded interesting and cool.

On the other hand on a remaster of Bob Dylan's Street Legal, Senior (Tales of Yankee Power) has an annoying drone sound that is way too loud! It should stay in the background. I don't like the remix at all of the whole album. Would rather listen to the vinyl record or an earlier edition CD.
