I'am going with Azure d'Or just because I am in a Renaissance mood. Wink

Much Renaissance this week on the forums. Fugazi, even though it's not that great, easily gets a vote over Annie & Co.'s least rewarding work.
There is no dark side in the moon, really... Matter of fact, it's all dark...

Odd (interesting?) poll. I'd vote for Renaissance, but Fugazi is one of the few Marillion albums I intensely like, so my vote goes there.

Fugazi, one of my favourite Marillion albums. Renaissance is quite bland in comparison IMO.
A GREAT YEAR FOR PROG!!!

Marillion
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Azure D'Or is a pleasant album: not by any means as brilliant as their earlier work, but still good.

Fugazi is Marillion's best Fish era album; only Seasons End surpasses it from their entire discography.

So Fugazi gets my vote.

One of the best Marillion versus one of the worst Renaissance...
Curiosity killed a cat, Schroedinger only half.

Worse than Rennaisance's early 80s albums? I disagree.
And for these ears, the best Marillion's album is their debut.

For me Azur d'or is not much better than Camera Camera and Script is too immature for me. Apart if Forgotten Sons and Garden Party it doesn't make much for me.

Azure D'or  is (imo) an excellent album with a nice tracks; on other side, Camera Camera, back in the day, was a bad album even for their hardcore fans.

This was my revieew of Azure D'or, written in 2011

And this is Fugazi at the end of 2010

I haven't changed ny mind since then (btw those reviews are not good, rereading them now I think I should have done better)

Azure D'Or is an underrated album (btw, probably due to lack of some longer tracks) like, for example, Tormato by Yes.

I can't. I remember the disappointment when I have bought it. And listening to it after years never changed my impression.
