I think everyone should have an equal right to discriminate anyone for any reason.

Has anyone discriminated against you yet for the color of your stool?

I  just posted another part of my erotic story. Why do I mention this here? Because it is a lesbian story.

Was this "LGBTA Discussion forum" placed here as a act of compassion or as an act of expediency?

Take a good look at the photo above. The segregated "colored only" water drinking fountain was placed there by an act of expediency in order to comply with old state segregation laws that existed in the USA back in nineteen fifties. There was no change in the culture or thinking of the people who installed the "colored only" drinking fountain. It was not done as an act of compassion or a sincere show of support.

Is that what happened with the inclusion of this LGBTA Thread? From the bizarre tone of the discussions that has overtaken the other "thread" posted by me, and a mocking "thread" about halitosis, I feel that it's quite reasonable of me to inquire of this.

I will say this in a nicest way possible. If you are acting under malevolence, it will be quite easy for me to pin that out and take you to task. It is, after all, what I do for a living.

You were complaining that there was no LGBTA thread here. So I posted one. If the discussion here isn't up to your standards, you only have yourself to blame. You were the one shoving the idea down our throats. Before you came along we were happy being an openly but not overtly pro-gay community.

It's tough to be a gay man, but a gay man that loves Kansas is kind of a double whammy. LOL

You want to know how to really start a huge mess around here? Keep mentioning that you're a Kansas fan.

I love Kansas too. But they are basically the DT of the 70's in the world of prog. Great, but for some reason, everyone hates them.

Also in regards to the TX thing, in my 11 years of living there I found that the people there are some of the most friendly, hospitable people I've ever met (in general). I strongly believe that if the majority of people who voted against the recent bill sat down with some transgendered people and were properly educated on what it means to be one, they would be sympathetic to their cause. I think it's a matter of ignorance, not of genuine hate (most of the time).

@Padriac: No, not really, I'm kind of a AOR Prog fan, if that makes sense? I like Kansas, Styx, Journey, later Genesis and So era Peter Gabriel.

This probably sounds a bit campy, but I love Queen and David Bowie. But I don't know if they are actually considered prog rock.
