Lately this has become my favorite holiday tune:

Renaissance's Cold is Being: What to listen to while you're freezing out in the middle of the woods miles from nowhere on a cold winter's night.

Moody Blues did a couple of Christmas-y songs. Though they don't really sound proggy

-Simon & Garfunkel 1966 masterpiece "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme" is a treasure trove of brilliant songs that at the time heralded conscious political anti-war sentiments, alienation, literary opinion, and self-reflection. There is one of my favorite renditions of "Silent Night" and the deep introspection of "The Dangling Conversation," are a couple of gems that highlight this great album. Yet PSRT IMO has a wintry mood and feel that I always play during the holidays.-

"Fluff" by Black Sabbath has an almost Christmasy vibe to it.
He looks at this world and wants it all... so he strikes, like Thunderball!

Definitely agree. One of my favorite Michigan Winter listens.
