Definitely Moonmadness. It always reminds me of a moonlit winter night right after the first snowfall of the season. The album art may have a bit to do with that but Song Within A Song and Chord Change really made my day walking home the other night.

"Mistletoe & Wine" - Mediaeval Baebes Although not really a Christmas album, there are some recognizable carols included in this compilation from previous albums by the British eight women vocal ensemble who perform both acapella and in certain songs accompanied with instruments. Not sure if they're in PA list but there is a progressive sensibility in their contemporary approach to ancient songs. |

Yep, definitely this song does, particularly the closing segment with the ringing bells. |

- I love this music which I play all year round. "A Winter's Solstice - Windham Hill Artists" - Track 8- "Northumbrian Lullaby" reminds me of early Trespass Genesis acoustic guitar/dulcimer style - And the last track - Mark Isham's beautiful "A Tale of Two Cities" are my favorite tracks - |

This is a great bouncy Christmas Party track, reminds me a bit of Santana. |

"Fluff" by Black Sabbath has an almost Christmasy vibe to it.

-Simon & Garfunkel 1966 masterpiece "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme" is a treasure trove of brilliant songs that at the time heralded conscious political anti-war sentiments, alienation, literary opinion, and self-reflection. There is one of my favorite renditions of "Silent Night" and the deep introspection of "The Dangling Conversation," are a couple of gems that highlight this great album. Yet PSRT IMO has a wintry mood and feel that I always play during the holidays.- |

Moody Blues did a couple of Christmas-y songs. Though they don't really sound proggy
