Norwegian trio Bez Taktu started in late 2012 in Fredrikstad.

The s/t debut album was recorded in 2014, in the legendary Athletic Sound Studio (A studio which was used by Motorpsycho in the early days) and mastered for vinyl and digital distribution by Abbey Road.

The spesific prog sound is hard to put a finger on. One of reviewers said the music is somewhere between late 60-psych and early 70-prog, and that the production of our album is nearly perfect for the style of music. And pull in artists like Motorpsycho, Landberk, Hawkwind and Doors while trying to explain the sound.
The review of the album is in norwegian and can be read here;

The album is now out on Vinyl, but is also available on Spotify, Tidal, Wimp, Apple Music and iTunes Store.

Hey this ain't bad at all...Despite being not particularly melodic! LOL

Have a look at this:

And this:

And this:

And this:

And this:

That's all but one of the tracks from the debut album, played splendidly live.

Sounds proggy enough to me...Don't know where I'd file it though...A touch of the Avant Garde maybe? Embarrassed

Thank you! I am glad you like it :)

We have heard it alot that our band is hard to put in a certain category. What we usually hear is the mix between 60 psych and 70 prog :)
