So, after listening to Black Noise for awhile, I could sorta understand why these guys were prog related - but even then that feels a bit unfair. But after listening to Direct to Disc - how are these guys NOT in a proper prog category? It is absolutely pure space rock/electronic music/prog to the fullest extent. I'm not sure if a band can be changed retroactively but if it can, there has to be a case for this.

This matter was discussed in the Prog Music Lounge just over two years ago: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=96364. Almost everyone who posted agreed that FM (Canada)'s classification on here was wrong. Perhaps a collab who shares that opinion could ask the current Crossover team to run the rule over them with a view to a move? They are on progfreak, but no PA tab exists - they were added to the progarchives database in the very early days before any of our teams used progfreak to track their evaluations: http://progfreak.com/FM-112187.html.

Edit: Samuel - I would be very surprised indeed if the Psych/Space (or PSIKE as it is now) team took this band under their wings. The general consensus seems to be that Crossover Prog is where they really should have been filed, so maybe you could edit your topic title accordingly, so that any Crossover team members on here viewing new posts will be drawn to it?

I can - I suppose on a larger measure they are crossover and this album is more of a one off while Black Noise was kinda both.

^ Thanks for doing this. Thumbs Up

Crossover team should now spot the topic, and It'll be down to the collaborators on the team and our admins to decide whether or not to pursue the matter any further. Smile
