Bio:
Born in the first days of 2011, The Forgotten prisoners are an Italian band located in Rome. Since its first lineup, the project target has always been to create a prog-like original sound by mixing the various musical influences of the band members. Via a wise mash-up of the best contributions of each of the musicians, the TFP sound was created shortly after the band creation. This type of sound managed to survive the various line-ups that played in the project - the result is something that must be heard to be judged fully.
At the same time of the technical and musical building, there also was the lyrics, theme and mood construction. This was absolutely a priority for the project, 'cause it was tightly embedded within the very name of the band. The Forgotten Prisoners are all who are left alone, solitary and unhelped, due to their political or religious beliefs, often apart from the common creed of their society. Every one can be a prisoner of someone or something, and each and every one can be forgotten by somebody, or being assumed as dead and simply disappear, for the personal purposes of a few individuals who can control power and people for their own objectives. This type of imprisonment can, though, also be self-inflicted as a punishment or revenge towards the society or the loved ones: and who is being forgotten by himself is not able to see past his jail - to break free and think without hindrance with his own ideas, one has to walk, unassisted, past his very prison walls.
