Hello everyone

There is prog song which I heard a few month ago, and I'm looking for it. But the problems are: 1. I don't know the song name. 2. I don't know the band name. 3. I don't know the lyrics. 4. I don't know the rhythm.
All I remember is: 1. The vocalist is female 2. She sings about her childhood and adolescence as a girl. Then there is this imaginary friend which she'll have at some age, and they are like sisters and get along together very well. As she grows up, this imaginary friend kinda fades away... :|

Can you help me please? I'm going crazy. Seriously :|

Bit of a long shot, but could it possibly be Shrinking Violet by Mostly Autumn?

It would have helped if you had mentioned that the female was narrating rather than singing. Not that it took long for someone to come with the right song, anyway (not long at all)... however, while reading your post (before seeing the replies) this song did come to my mind, but was already dismissing it because there was no female singer in it, as such. However, beautiful song indeed...
