I'm not a Supertramp fan, but I did thinks this was their best record by a dinstance.
I'm guitarist and songwriter for the prog-related band Mother Bass. Find us at http://www.motherbass.com. I also enter stages throughout the Netherlands performing my poetry.

My favorite 'Tramp album....less bombast, more groove.....Sister Moonshine!  The whole album is a delight.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....

Voted for Two Of Us, a lovely track, with honourable mentions for A Soapbox Opera and Sister Moonshine.

The album as a whole is a bit of a mess, certainly compared with its predecessor. There are some fantastic moments, but it does not flow seamlessly at all.

Hmmm....always thought they were a bit light for my tastes but I do like 'The Meaning' from Crisis....still have the original vinyl on the first  5.

The only Supertramp vinyls that remain in my collection are the debut, Famous Last Words and Brother Where You Bound. All others on cassette.

not a fan at all of the group, but this certainly ranks as the least compelling and most awkward and dated sounding of their peak period (Crime to Breakfast).  That said, I'll go with "Another Man's Woman" just for the great outro

Actually think Meaning is the best song they ever wrote, while Crises is one of my least favourite albums.

Ahhhh... Supertramp is one of those rare bands where you can listen the whole way through an album without skipping a single track.  One of my all time favorites!
