Exxasens is a four piece from Barcelona, active since 2007. The band produces an heavy Math Rock usually against a backdrop of spacey atmospheres. Their music occasionally features vocals from invited artists and more electronic sections, sometimes making for an unexpectedly diverse experience.

Some tunes:

The band has release four LPs to date that are available in full from YouTube and Spotify.

I don't hear any math rock at all. The band themselves use the tags 'post metal', 'post rock' and 'space rock' on their Bandcamp and that seems apt. Added them to our charts. Thanks for the suggestion.

I understood it to be the same or equivalent to post rock in this web site. But in the end that is just a detail.

Can you explain what this means in practical terms?

Thanks.

Most of the sub-genre teams have charts on ProgFreak to help keep track of what needs to be evaluated; what needs to be added to the database, etc.

Borderline Heavy Prog at times, I gave them a yes vote anyway. Looks like they'll be in.

Cleared. I'll do the addition as soon as I find some spare time.
