Game 1 tonight!  Lets go Pens!
 
Side note, never understood the NHL marketing strategy to gain new fans.  They had a chance to be the only prime time championship game on to gain some new fans, but they pick a night when the NBA has a game 7 on to see who goes to the finals.  They could have played last night or Tuesday.  Maybe it was NBC to blame, anyway thinking out loud.

^ It is odd. I would have thought a Tuesday start myself, but alas here we are.
 
I would say NBC has a large part of the scheduling process.
 
Great game 1...hopefully will lead to an intense and speed filled final.

I'm pretty surprised. Game 5 in your building with the cup hovering... giving up 2 goals in 3 minutes proves fatal yet again.

Sharks goalie was a beast last night, stopped 44 of 46 shots on goal.  Oh well, Pens winning the cup at home spoiled for now.  At least we get more hockey!

Though apparently, all four times the pens won the cup they didn't do it on home ice. That's a trend I can't be blamed for. Tongue
