' The Miller's song' and 'the Princess suite' by Sandra Kerr and John Faulkner from the 'Music from Bagpuss' lp.. On fact the whole lp has had me in a face-splitting grin and floods of tears all week.

too damn strange. but that is my life... so it is my song of the day.

was smoking a Winston on the way to work this morning and while sitting a light I dropped the damn thing so I pulled a quicky off the side of the road to get it before it went out... since it was still dark out I had to flip my floormat out of the way and what did I find... a CD.. haha.. yeah.. that is me. Just ask Raff.. so I glanced at the CD and said to myself.. damn.. I haven't heard this in years so I popped it in and surprisingly enough it still played.

forget just how much I loved this song..  way back in the day... .BERN!!!!!!  where are you man.. we miss you. I discovered her through the site and one of favorite long gone forum members.  The voice can be a bit of an acquired taste.. but I adore it and this really is such a lovely song.

Deftones - Xerces

Incredibly beautiful and textured post-metal with strong shoegaze influences. Deftones were always very innovative and ahead of the curve compared to their alternative metal contemporaries. I'd actually like to see them added to the archives someday as a prog-related or crossover act
Take me down, to the underground
Won't you take me down, to the underground
Why oh why, there is no light
And if I can't sleep, can you hold my life
