2nd Round, two really obscure masterpieces vs somewhat well know ones.

Man your not making this any easier, it's between GAM and EIDER STELLAIRE but GAM is so obscure I'm surprised they have a vote already. So I'll go with possibly my fav Zeuhl album.

It was my vote
I really love this album, yet i don't fully understand it but every time i listen it again, it appears more beautiful to my ears, very magical album.

Not a hard choice for me, I'm voting for Dun, but man I love both Eider Stellaire and Eiszeit. Never cared for Dom too much.

Nice choice, in fact it seems like anyone who has heard it is pretty impressed considering it sits at a 4.62 rating right now. Magical is right. His solo albums are well worth getting especially Uberfalig which I also gave 5 stars to. He was Klaus Schulze's roadie and assistant for years so the man knows his stuff but he has gone to great lengths not to sound like anyone else.

Funny how different Schickert's sound is to Schulze's - even if they both sound incredibly German. Klaus is like this bubbly silk canvas of the galaxies, whereas Günther rely on these serrated and ominous sounding loops. His guitar work certainly adds a poignancy to a style of music that often evades the very same.

1 Dun 2 ES3 Dom
Love the trio on top. Probably never listened to Einzeit more than once and only remember that it failed to engage.

I love all four of these albums, but Dom's Edge of Time is the album I have been returning to the most (its been a particular favourite album of mine over the last few years). Incidentally, the list is ordered the same as my order of discovery of these albums.
