Hello, and welcome to another year of fantasy football. All last years participants have been emailed with an invite. Anybody who would like to join please post here or PM me and I'll get you in. League point system will stay at Yahoo default. Any interest in making this a PPR or Keeper League should be voiced as early as possible. I would be on board for this being the beginning of a keeper league, but would only do it if there was a consensus. Also, anyone willing to take over as commissioner or even joint commissioner would be appreciated. I am in a few leagues and manage a few more, and sometimes this leads to mistakes or oversights. Any help would be welcomed, just throwing it out there. As always, sh*t talk is more than appropriate; but let's try to stay away from the negative - "OMG my number 1 pick did nothing/got injured while my opponent Johnny no name blew up!", or "Well if I hadn't have been pick 8 in the draft" - kind of comments. Strategy and luck are equal components in most fantasy sports, so let's not take a fantasy so seriously. Good luck, have fun and GO HAWKS!

Count me back in for another year. Maybe, just maybe, I'll be around for the draft this year.

I'm in. Sorry but can't help with the commish thing, I retired as commish from a pretty active league last season after 15 years at the helm and my wife will kill me if I do it again
As for PPR I don't have strong feelings one way or another, will go with the consensus of owners. I would be in favor of a keeper rule, limited to 1-2 players though. I was in a league a while back that had a rule you could keep one player from the prior year and give up a draft pick one round higher than he was drafted the prior year (roll of dice if he was a free agent pickup). Makes stashing rookie RBs more interesting for sure. |

Just going to bump this thread to keep it relevant for any newcomers. There always seems to be some late stragglers. Still no set date for draft but sometime in September would be best. Somebody throw out a date that works for them and we'll go from there.

I enjoyed it last year, so I'm definitely in! I have a semi-finals loss I have to redeem this year.
I don't have a specific date in September yet that I know would work. Maybe on the evening of the 5th or 6th?

I'm fine with PPR also, I'd say maybe next Saturday (Sep 3rd) for the draft..
I wouldn't want to go the keeper route, but would consider a Dynasty format, think with just 10 active owners, it might just be best to stick to redraft :)

Saturday is iffy for me, depends on the time really. Sunday the 4th is better, and actually I'm going to change it to that day, just need to know what time. I am one of few on the west coast so we'll post suggestions in EST, anytime Sunday is good for me. I could do it late-ish Saturday, like 10-11pm EST

That's in the middle of ProgDay. I won't be able to draft.

Monday works better for me, I have another draft on Sunday. If there's anything we can do to start earlier than 10:00pm EST that would be good too. Not sure what time zones everyone is in but if the majority are west of the Mississippi then I'll just suffer

I get home from work Mon - Thurs at 9:20 PM (so 9:30 works for me) and 8:20 PM on Friday.
This is eastern time of course. I am A OK staying up late to draft. Weekends are pretty much wide open. Only thing I should say is I will be on vaca this weds night (the 31st) to sunday night (the 4th) If the only time that works for all is during this period, is there any option to pre emptively pick a list that the computer will just run down? If not, I'll auto draft. Of course ideally I'd like it to be before or after this stretch but if it must be during, that's ok |

No cash involved just a plaque with some bad history... I am setting the draft date to Monday the 5th at 9:45PM EST. That is 6:45PM PDT for us on the west coast.
Equality, if you were in last year you got a reinvite sent to whatever email you provided and the yahoo account used to manage the team, check either and rejoin. If not then let me know and I will send you an invite. Same goes for you The T. |

For the best. The one time I did a $ league was enough for me...too chaotic. Losing a game because an opponent has someone rack up yards in garbage time, injuries (and I know you can always counter but cmon we all know a critical injury can wreck your team) just so many things out of your hands...
Have we decided on a time for draft? |
