 Topic: BUG: VBS error won't let me log in.

Hi guys. I just joined the forums and tried to log in to the main site but I got this error message. Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'
Object required: 'objItem'
/login_user_submit.asp, line 34 Is there any fix for this as it doesn't log me in? Thanks. |

^ Don't sweat it; just keep trying, the site may've been upgrading or just very busy. You posted this thread, so I don't think it's gonna be a big problem. Plus you only have two posts and need a few more to vote in polls, etc.

Thanks. I tried it again this morning and it came up with the same error, so I don't know what's up. I'll keep trying though.

In order to be able of any help please state your browser.
Are cookies allowed? Have you any filtering in place? Are scripts allowed? (Just a few of first concerns to start with)

It's probably because of the apostrophe on your username, it happened before.

I think Meltdowner has worked it out. Is there a way to change my username as I cannot do it via the profile editor?

Since some updates to the forum software, not even admins can change usernames. I recommend a new account and I hope it's gonna fix the problem of loging in.
