MOOLAH - Woe Ye Demons Possessed (Sam, Michael, Vinicius - do you guys know this lost 1974 krautrock-like gem from the US? Excellent stuff. If you like reverb and echo-drenched soundscapes with hints of raga and electronics, you need to hear this!)

Interesting, did you care for that album at all? I found it to be utterly atrocious myself, one of those obscure oddities that turn out to deserve their obscurity. But then it's been awhile since my last listen.

Yeah, it's way too raw for my ears. I really like the first track, though. But the rest of the album is very underwhelming. Neither does it not suck the listener in nor it posses any specific atmosphere. It has its moments, but I'm not a fan of it either. |

Yesterday: Syncage - Unlike Here (Fantastic stuff, but maybe too long for its own good. A second listen is in order though!) Banda do Casaco - Também Eu Sunrise Auranaut - The Ocean of Unspoken Words (Nice album, Michael!) Kayo Dot - Plastic House on Base of Sky (So many guest musicians and you can't hear any of them. Probably the most frustrating album I heard this year.) Psycho Praxis - Echoes From the Deep (Nothing wrong with it but it's just OK in my opinion.) |

The Peter Brötzmann Sextet/Quartet - Nipples
Masayuki Takayanagi New Direction Unit - Eclipse Samuel Cadima - Cascata (Sam, love this! Really good music. It's very varied, but retains the hypnotic Berlin School quality. The title track is killer, my favorite moment is at 12 minutes in. I can only imagine what a great feeling it must be to release something you put your heart and time into and wait to hear what others think about it. If you don't want to overdose musique concrete, but still want to listen to Asmus Tietchens, have a listen to his 2014 release Der Fünfte Himmel. I stumbled upon it quite accidentally, but enjoyed it very much, it reminds me of Sowiesoso-era Cluster and early Harmonia very much. |

I'm really glad to hear it, thanks for the feedback! The third part is supposed to be the climax of the suite, I think it wouldn't be as interesting if it was a separate piece. Yeah, it was great to finally reveal it to everyone, although an even better feeling was listening to the whole thing for the first time, since I had the album very structured in my head even before recording. The music itself was mostly improvised though  Yesterday: Moolah - Woe Ye Demons Possessed (It's very good Tymon, it reminds me of early Popol Vuh.) Crucis - s/t (I really enjoyed this one too, it's not as eclectic as the follow-up but it's concise.) Nektar - Remember the Future Santana - Abraxas Vangelis - Rosetta

Sorry, Tymon, didn't get a chance to listen to that album yet, I've had a ton of glitchy internet problems since last night, couldn't even get to play my precious `Criminal Case' online games!
 Will try again tonight.Well done again on the album, Sam, superb effort....the start of many, I'm absolutely sure.  (nice choices with the Santana, Nektar and Vangelis discs too!)
