Hi Mårtte
Sorry for the late comeback, but I am currently preparing for my new job and there are about a hundred small things I have to get sorted befors monday. It was actually a hesrtsarming surprise to find that I had to wade 2 pages back in order to find your post. Means that people still post on PA - more frequently these past few months....which is rather assuring when I think about how deserted this place can feel.

Faust experimental? News to me Nahh but I do find that they have a way with it that not only feels and sounds organic, for lack lf a better word, but also always manages to sound playful verging on the naive. If you haven't yet checked it out, then I strongly suggest you find their most recent album 'Fresh Air' and give it a whirl. Quite simply the best I've heard from Faust in a very very long time. Definitely among the finest releases of 2017 imo.
Totally understand you. I have no job at the moment, but having a one in April, I really haven´t got time to be then here so much as now.

Yes, I have already listened Fresh Air and love it really much! Listened just recently their collaboration with Dälek, T-Electronique is really great, but the album as a whole is one of the most boring I´ve heard from Faust. I think I have to listen it again someday, maybe my mood just wasn´t right that day.

Ha, my LP of that Red Sun album should be arriving any day now, Samuel! Nice album. Not exactly too challenging, but a nice chill-out spacey jam disc all the same

Do any better with that Orb album this time?

Oh man, that Mansun album!

They'll soon be on PA Wink

Not really, I don't know how many times I fell asleep and woke up while listening to it Embarrassed I think the music flows without any particular direction or meaning (that I know of) and I find very dificult to focus on it.

Yeah, it's great! I have a vague memory of listening to "Legacy" on the radio back then.

Yesterday:
Moths & Locusts - Intro/Outro
Moths & Locusts - Helios Rising
Supertramp - Brother Where You Bound

Great pop song that `Legacy'

Last night's choices for me:

Arena – The Unquiet Sky

Amon Duul - Paradieswarts Duul

Braen’s Machine – Underground (Dave, I’m absolutely certain you would dig this groovy psych album. Sounds a lot like Floyd’s `More’ in many moments)

Tribute – New Views (a wonderful mid-80’s full-blown prog album, sounds like a proudly symphonic cross between Camel, Tangerine Dream and Mike Oldfield with a pinch of Yes. I'm absolutely certain the kids on the back cover were part of an alien cult as well )

Il Tempio delle Clessidre – Il-Ludere
Taproban – Per Aspera Ad Astra

Alturo Stalteri - ...E Il Pavone Parlo’ Alla Luna (gorgeous solo album from the keyboardist of RPI band Pierrot Lunaire of early 80’s recordings that’s just been given a lovely LP reissue, a work that’s not quite prog-electronic, not quite ambient, not quite raga-rock...but somewhere beautifully in between)

Lorenzo Montana - Nihil

Today was a good day. I finally received my new hd6xx along with my new amp (myryad z40), and I've been celebrating ever since
I've been like a kid in a candystore all day picking albums like they were chocolat and Justin Bieber accesories:

Dead Can Dance - Anastasis
Sven Libaek - Inner Space
Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
Thy Catafalque - Meta
Ulver - The Assassination of Julius Caesar
Penderecki - Matrix 5
Haroumi Hosono - Cochin Moon
The Future Sound Of London - Lifeforms
Now halfway through Mother Turtle's second album simply named ll.

“The Guide says there is an art to flying or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”

More of a mixed genre day today....

Burn - Deep Purple
Turn of the Cards - Renaissance
The Yes Album - Yes (no harm in comparing the two- to confirm my poll vote!)
Lost on the Road to Eternity - Magnum (again! Bob's voice hanging in there and the new keyboardist has freshened things up for the old pomp rockers!)
The Night Fly - Donald Fagen
Damn the Torpedoes - Tom Petty and the Hearbreakers
“Living in their pools, they soon forget about the sea.”
