Listen to The Province from that one ....another awesome piece.....perhaps my favorite by them but all of these are very good.

Chicago | VII

Jandek | Manhattan Tuesday
Jandek | What Was Once There Disappeared
Steve Hackett | Spectral Mornings
Big Brother & the Holding Company | Cheap Thrills
This Heat | Deceit
Throbbing Gristle | Second Annual Report
XTC | Transistor Blast: The Best of the BBC Sessions (disc 3)
Il Balletto di Bronzo | Ys
The Voidz | Virtue
Women | s/t

I reckon Jandek might be prog related. The scope of some of his 00’s work, IIRC, with 20+ min songs, is rather progressive. Seen him twice live. Surprised to see another fan here.

Big fan of TG also. And I may need to revisit that Voidz album, I recall enjoying it.

Another Jandek fan here! I've also seen him live twice. First time was him playing the piano, accompanied by a harpist. The gig was released on Helsinki Saturday CD. Another time was with a standard band line up and I don't think that one has been released.

I prefer his early stuff, Blue Corpse and Ready For The House being my favourite ones.

Have you seen the Jandek On Corwood documentary?

I saw him at the show that’s been released as Manhattan Saturday. Great, three piece group, the Rep on gtr/vox, bass and drum backing.

I saw him again in I think Northampton in I think 2011. Big group of musicians; more freak folk kinda sound, kinda jammy/hippie, not as interesting.

I’ve used to own the Jandek on Corwood doc on DVD. I found it interesting at the time, though in retrospect it’s kind of corny how it plays up the “crazy outsider” aspect.
