I actually think there's a couple songs mixed up in this one, but the most obvious cover is of the original Ornette Coleman classic.

Another cover of Eleanor Rigby. VF is in my opinion one of the only bands to do better versions than the originals.

Love this Arjen Lucassen cover. All of his covers on that album are quite well-done, I find.

Bigger on the inside.

Totally agree on this one.
I like this a lot better than the original!

People probably know this one, but here goes. (Far out spacey intro leads into the original - or a perverse facsimile at least - around 1m09s)....
Will higher mighty force redeem
the one who dropped the moral compass,
failed to fulfill the dream?

First is a laugh. Second is dull & totally lacks the magic Heep had. Fine examples why some are beyond copying.
You may see a smile on Tony Banksī face but thatīs unlikely.

"America" by Jon Anderson & Co. Yes - their made it stellar in 1971. The best cover after Jimi Hendrixīs view of "All Along the Watchtower", 1968. And David Byronīs "Come Away Melinda", 1970.

Is that a fact. I hear Tim Bogert singing, partly at least ? Well, heīs style (or whoever it is) does not fit this beautiful song at all,
vocals in particular are booooring and annoying to my senses. This totally lacks the feel (meaning) to this song.

Tim Bogertīs style fits BBA way better, of course.

David Byron sings "Come Away Melinda" by Hellerman & Minkoff in early 1970.

Thatīs music.
