In Rock by lightyears... 2112 was a poor choice if you meant to match a great album vs. Great album.

which band do I prefer...  easy. I do like Rush.. but they were no Deep Purple.  Better musicians, better songwriters, better albums..  really no contest in terms of why I prefer one over the other. In the end it comes down to which is simply more interesting or fun to listen to.. and D.P smokes Rush in that.
