Hi,

Here is a little known Romanian band which released 3 albums between 1996-2004. These are real gems, hard to find and truly appreciated by collectors:

The band still exists today but their activity seems to be even moer "low profile" than before.

With some luck some second hand copies of their albums can still be unearthed (wrongly listed as "Rock band from Poland!" ....  Big smile ):

Luckily most of their music can be easily heard on youtube, here are some samples:

Thanks for listening! ;)

^ Listening to the cassette album ... very cool, love it. Cool

But I (also as one of RIO/Avant Team members) consider they cannot be fit for Avant, nor Krautrock ... they play avantgarde folk / chamber music, not "rock".

A fantastic one, nevertheless.

My suggestion for RIO/Avant was based on similarities with bands like Aranis which also play chamber music which is not really rock, but are included under RIO/Avant.

Of course, if there is a better ft for them, then it's all good. I do think they deserve to be listed here, so there must be a fit.

iŽd suggest prog folk. Its avant garde but at its core it sounds very folky.
