Anyone ever get into Visual Cliff? They describe themselves a "Spiritual Fusion of Rock, Metal and Jazz". Some of the MP3 demos on their site are pretty nice. http://www.visualcliff.net/ They are in the Archives, but not much info on them. Not much on Amazon either. Just wondering if anyone had heard one of their CDs all the way through. |

If it's worth playing, it's worth playing loud!

I like Visual Cliff. Like a hard rock, jazzy, metal jam session, esp. the first 3 albums. The last 2 have some vocal provided by Orphan Project lead singer. Visual Cliff for when you want some hard jamming. Orphan Project if you want something that is a cross between Neal Morse and... well.. some of their songs you'll believe that you've gone back in time and are hearing Kansas again (very nice). Orphan Project is a large mix of progressive ranges... blues, rock, symphonic prog, art rock, etc.

Oh... forgot... Fall of Echoes is basically the combination of the Visual Cliff band and Orphan Project, in case you want them smooshed together.

VC's last one Freedom Within is their most polished (but not overly slick) effort. Very, very cool. If you like that, you can back to the others.
