Of all the ethnic groups in the US, would you say that the black population gets the roughest deal in terms of media image, treatment at work etc? More so than Asian, Hispanic, Jewish etc..??

I'm just curious, because in the UK, the black and white communities seem better intergrated than ever before. Our biggest targets for racist abuse are Asians, or more specifically Muslims, although Hindus and Sikhs take a fair amount of sh!t day to day.

doesn't bother me in the least.  chances are he was looting.  a lot of blacks are looting downtown NO, finally the police are cracking down. 

its not racism its reality.  look at the videos of the looting in new orleans, they are takign TV's and sh*t not bread, and there isn't a white face in the crowd.  I'm not saying only blacks loot or that all blacks loot, but some do, and they are doing it right now.

I concur that all blacks are not "looting" and all whites are not "finding," but the articles were written by two different people (I assume) and every person 'as their own writing style.  Besides we don't even know all the facts.  Perhaps the white people "found" the food floating outside a supermarket, while the black man actually "looted" it from a dry supermarket.  There is not enough information from those two articles that 'as justifiable evidence of racisim.
