we watched a TV thriller called "Der siebte Tag" ("The Seventh
Day") today. a woman wakes up naked in a hotel room with a bloody knife
beside her. she has no idea how she got there and where the knife came
from. the story was told with lots of
flashbacks, and while it started with full female nudity it ended with
full male nudity. full nudity is certainly not rare in German
television, but it is not often that actors and actresses in their
forties take parts in which they have to appear totally nude. Stefanie
Stappenbeck was 43 and Marcus Mittermaier 48 when the movie was shot.
they both could pull it off though; they still looked attractive. |

we just watched the end of a 6-part cop series with Jürgen Vogel in the lead, one of the very best German actors. Vogel has an interesting tooth anomaly. when his milk teeth were replaced by his permanent teeth his upper canines appeared when the milk teeth in their place were still there, so they appeared in a place where two of his incisors should be. therefore he only has two upper incisors (instead of the usual four). this makes his teeth unique and quite menacing; he usually either plays criminals or very tough cops  |
