I'll take the first one: more chance of something magical happening in the improv department.

The third could have had a possibility to exist. All of them have played in bands. I can't imagine Zappa and Emerson playing and most of al, "composing and arranging" together. Same for Vander and Wakeman, even if Wakeman can play everything.

Difficult. The first one has top potential although I have a hard time imagining how Zappa and Emerson could find a common direction.
If the question was for whom I'd buy a concert ticket first, it'd be number 3 because I'd give most to see Moerlen again, paired up with Squire both would be great regardless of what the other two do (of which I'm not that curious to be honest) The second lineup is in third place clearly. |

Picked the first one, though I there'd probably be some animosity between Zappa and Emerson. Emerson, Bruford and Pastorius would be a sick trio, though.

Zappa and Emerson wouldn't work well together
I would pick the second option but I generally dislike Geddy Lee's voice Third option by default

Ya don't say lol I would never have guess that. Yeah I reckon the two would have lasted about a millisecond. Although Frank did work briefly with Jack Bruce also but Frank Zappa, Bill Bruford, Keith Emerson, Jaco Pastorius is pretty close to my Ult Prog group. I would go (Currently): Frank Zappa, Bill Bruford, Keith Emerson, Jack Bruce.

Option 2, but I'd prefer Bruford in it to Vander.

I was about to vote for option two but decided that option three would be pretty crazy to hear. Option two is, of course, the only one that is still possible, but we are proggers and can always dream, can't we?

The saddest part about this list is the amount of dead people in it.

The first option is amazing but a bit sad considering that 3 of them are dead
I do hope that doesn`t be a signal about Bill Bruford
