What are your favourite Prog Videos from the 1970s? I was around in the seventies, but did not discover progressive rock until the 1980s, so missed out on a lot of concerts from that previous decade, and videos are the next best thing. The ones I value and treasure the most are:

Triumvirat-A Kraut Prog In The 70s

Gentle Giant-Giant On The Box

ELP-Pictures At An Exhibition Special Edition

Mahavishnu Orchestra-Live In France 1972

Atomic Rooster-The Ultimate Anthology

All the above are bands that I would have given the world to have actually seen in the 70s. The Triumvirat video unfortunately doesn't have anything pre-1977, but is the only existing video footage of what is my favourite band, and is still endearing for me. The ELP dvd has a lot of animated colouring, but I live for the first 15 minutes which are free of that, and also it includes Belgium footage which is mostly free of that, as well. The Mahavishnu one is very early on, and is so wonderful, and the Rooster dvd has the period with both John du Cann and Chris Farlowe periods, which is nice. The GG video has some of the best film footage of the band from German tv in 1974, also priceless and endearing!
What comes to mind for you folks?

Let me start out with the most obvious: Floyd at PompeiiHeart No sense in drawing a picture here as most probably knows this one by heart. I love it to bits myself.

GG at the GG is also great.  Guldbamsen mentioned Live at Pompeii.  JT's Live at Madison Square Garden is excellent too, esp Aqualung.

Not really an official video, but I quite liked the use of ELP's edited Karn Evil 9 ("Welcome back, my friends ... ") in the '70s car flick Aloha Bobby and Rose. A little choppy, but it only served to add some luster to the song and album not long after it was released.

The absolute best from the Mahavishnu Orchestra, "The Mahavishnu Orchestra - Syracuse 1972".

Unfortunately, there are no videos of Dzyan or Libra, two of my favourite bands apart from T'rat; my other fave groups Colosseum and Passport have classic tracks done, but no complete concerts taped from their respective hey days in the 70s.
