Dream Theater without the vocals?

Who needs a new theme?

A Bond theme composed by The Mothers of Invention or Mr. Bungle would certainly have been amusing. As for an actual prog group, I'm trying to imagine how Gentle Giant would go about it; that'd be an intriguing result (I'm not taking this question very seriously).

ELP because the Peter Gunn theme is kind of close to a James Bond theme imo.

An instrumental version of Van der Graaf Generator's "Darkness".

I was actually thinking VDGG might be able to pull off a cool Bond theme, especially for a darker, grittier Bond film.

ELP - For the reasons/songs listed above as well as Pirates. Bond themes have mystery in them but also power, I know ELP were capable of these elements and would love to have heard their spin.
Thank you for supporting independently produced music

Black is Beautiful by Marcos Valle. Valle's not on this site, but is pretty damn near prog.

how about Magma? I'd like to have the next Bond to be titled "Mekanïk Destruktïẁ Kommandöh" or "Zebëhn Straïn De Geustaah"

Australia's own progger Ben Craven included a `mock' Bond theme on his recent `Last Chance to Hear' album (hint - it's one of the best prog albums of the year too! ), turned out terrific - cool instrumental stretch from the two minute to 3:30 stretch too:

Also, no doubt that assistant director mentioned in the video at the 51 second mark is some well-endowed, absurdly handsome star!

Ha, and the tune is also about a billion times better than that sloppy dreck `Writing's on the Wall' theme song from the recent `Spectre' movie!
