Topic: Gong vs Tangerine Dream Posted: January 09 2017 at 16:38 |
Gong a homeage to Daevid Allen this is hes world of wierd, this poll also includes all faces of Gong, alle the branches and branes of Gong, in the multiverse of which the sonic tapastree of Gong is Gong.
Tangerine Dream a homeage to Edgar Froese, and hes world of synthetic pleasure, of the deep space exploration of the mulitituded dimential travel of the everlong travel in Tangerine Dreams myth.

Tough call. Both produced brilliance and dreck.
I'll go GonG .

Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I voted for TD because most of the phases that Gong went through were not for me.

Gong is one of my favorite bands, but I also like TD. I have to go with Gong for this

Classical music isn't dead, it's more alive than it's ever been. It's just not on MTV.

I don't enjoy much music without drums so Gong win. I enjoy mid 70s Gong. They were pretty crap before You
|
All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.
