This is really excellent! Have you considered a CD or vinyl release?

Don't know if it counts for here (certainly prog-related), but I picked up the new Blackfield V today. A very enjoyable listen. Blackfield work best as a duo, and it's good to see them back that way for now at least.
Really excited at the news of a confirmed release date for BBT's Grimspound. Edited by RoeDent - February 10 2017 at 13:58 |

Digging the new Damn Fine Coffee album quite a bit. Need to listen through a few more times, however.

Haha! Wow, you remember THAT video? Impressive... It was ten years ago this spring, actually. Kind of the birth of Jordsjø...

Thanks a lot! Yes, it will be released on CD, and Panorama will release a 2LP compilation of the three first tapes.

Looking forward to the new Zu album, Jhator, their first with drummer Tomas Järmyr, which now also occupies the drum stool in Motorpsycho.

Thanks for the tip, did not know about this. Interesting to see side-long pieces this time rather than their usual short compositions. I saw them live when Gabe Serbian was on drums and they kicked unfeasible amounts of arse. Indeed they were all about that! I'd take it from the House of Mythology blurb that the approach here is gonna have considerably more light and shade. Edited by Mascodagama - February 19 2017 at 03:01 |

Just got my hands on Chalice Hymnal myself and I agree with you; very beautiful album verging on the serene. I rather dig their newly found electronic palette - a thing I believe got implemented after 2014s Watter collab. Quite a few similarities between the two. Oh and thanks for the heads up on the coming Zu album Audun! |

I listened to the Grails album and found it to be a bit boring, to be honest.
My favourite of the few 2017 albums I've checked so far is Noveller - A Pink Sunset for No One. A very easy listen. |

Yeah, saw it on spotify recently and gave it a listen and it is surprisingly solid. I'll try to pick up a physical copy soon. |

Thinking Plague
Just listened to Hopeless Hopes. They are very deep RIO so I still need several listens to form a complete opinion of it, but I have had a hard time with their albums after In This Life . That album was just so bloody amazing, they never really recaptured that magic. |

Stick with it, it may be their best since In This Life

And its Hoping Against Hope....as the dozens of ad banners continue to tell me. Hopeless Hopes is a Martyr album.
Someday I'll get something right the first time.

I love the way banner ads work, advertising something I've just bought as if I'm going to rush out and buy a second one. It is rather nice the Thinking Plague ads though, kind of odd.
