... welcome magick brothers and mystic sisters ...
Gilly in "Floating Anarchy". Even then, this was more about the Goddess for Gilly, than it was for anyone else in music. Renate, by comparison, is more of a renegade and fighter for something ... that might or might not be clear. I always thought that AD2 made a bit of fun of her, I bet she loved it, in the "HIJACK" album with that one marching piece and the guitar gives it the ______ (not saying it!) ... but while funny in the AD2 style, it was also not very funny at all.
I had a few talks with Gilly about this, and she was much more "liberated" and involved with the "goddess" inner thing, a lot, and she continually used it in her albums, from the very first one, to the robot thing which was insane, and sad, but so true, to the best of these albums in Goddess T. I did not find anything in her that was not true and "pure" in the sense that it was meaningful, and well defined inside. Remember that both her and Daevid, did a lot of meditation work and other "deep" work ... and used a lot of that knowledge in their work, and I'm not sure that there are many other women out there like that.
I like to say that Gilly was a true/pure woman to the last breadth ... not an inch of idealism in there ... just quality beauty all around ... and I think this built Daevid and Harry Williamson, a lot more than we know and could possibly understand.
