Going for the One: Great with one mediocre track
Drama: Mediocre with one great track

Easy pick...

Going for the One. For some reason, I never got into Drama, though is a good album.

I thought I mentioned I played bass somewhere on this forum before, but yeah that's one reason why I love thrash. The bass is pretty prominent, Frank Bello and Dave Ellefson being the best of the best.

Drama man.. by light years... Tempus Fugit alone smokes the whole of GFTO... add in Machine Messiah and Does It Really Happen then you have the usual for this forum... the majority apparantly sniffing glue and Mick and the glorious few pulling rear guard duty for the good tastes of the forum.

Drama's getting more spins on the turntable lately, so it gets the nod.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

Even Wondrous Stories had its appeal. Don't see how 'One can lose this one.

I just gotta cast my vote the Buggles way of things.. Going For The One is a great album, but Drama floors me.

yeah, Drama. But here I am, spinning my vinyl of GFTO. And I’m just up to the climax of Turn Of The Century, and it’s blowing me out. Now the Pipe Organ Of ‘Parallels’ has started.   Forgotten just how cool this album is.

Going for the One.....although Drama has climbed up my Yes preference list in recent years.

^ Turn of the Century is the one I skip of GFTO these days.
Howe almost ruined the title track, torturing that guitar towards the end of the song. It's become a wtf moment for me.

Wonderous Stories is a cute ballad.

Awake and Parallels are the excellent ones.
