Seeing those ominous armed troops without insignia or identification, deployed by William Barr and Donald Trump in DC, what I predicted about 3 years ago here on this site has finally arrived: Trump's private army is now present and ready to shoot unarmed protesters exercising their amendment rights. They suddenly appeared out of nowhere and now are a presence on the streets of DC. This is scary as hell.
To me it looks as if the private fascist army is now a force to be feared by right minded and law abiding American citizens.
Third Reich, pure and simple.

We're not real sophisticated around here either. I was performing at a casino in Mississippi and the hotel bar that was rarely used was being handled by what seemed to be the cleaning lady. I made the mistake of asking for a martini, she said 'a what?'. Anyway, she gave me something lemon lime flavored with a couple olives in it. It was actually kind of interesting. |

The problem with the Democrats is that many of them are also bought off by the same elite that also runs the Republican Party and it doesn't help that the Democratic base are mostly a bunch of affluent whites.

Our head of military has already shot down his idea of using the military to stop looting. If things keep going the way they are going now, trump will not have enough power or supporters to pull off any stunts. I get the impression that top military leaders in this country are prepared to stop any antics if needed.

And even with the support he still has, only the truly twisted & evil ~ like Lou Dobbs or Sean Hannity ~ would support something like that. I think even Mitch McConnell would tell him to get out. In a way I wish he'd try it-- how fine it would be to see him led out of the White House in shackles between two US Marshalls.
